The Asian Coalition of Tallahassee (ACT) presets its annual Experience Asia Festival for 2025 on Saturday, September 27th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Tom Brown Park. Featuring free admission, the family-friendly festival celebrates the diversity of Asian and Asian Pacific cultures through performances, demonstrations, cuisine, crafts, and more. 

Celebrate community, music, food, and family fun during Jacob City Day, happening September 25–26 in Jacob City, Florida!

On Saturday, September 26, the festivities continue with the Jacob City Day Parade at 11:00 AM. The parade will travel along Jackson Street and conclude at Jacob City Veterans Memorial Park, where the celebration will continue throughout the afternoon.
Bring the whole family and enjoy craft and food vendors, children’s activities, inflatables, music, dancing, and a DJ keeping the energy going all day long!

September 26, 2026 from 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Downtown Panama City on Harrison Ave from East 5th Street to Beach Drive. The Main Stage will be located on the Panama City Center for the Arts lawn, located at 19 East 4th Street.

The Big Bend Environmental Forum (BBEF) is hosting its candidate forum in preparation for this year’s important election. The BBEF is an alliance of organizations that have come together to conserve the region’s environmental qualities through education, advocacy, research and networking among its members.

Goat Day is one of the largest arts & craft festivals across the panhandle! Held annually on the third Saturday in October, the event is coordinated in conjunction with the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement's Pioneer Day, just across the park. Arts, crafts, entertainment, demonstrations, food, and goats - what more could you ask for?! All proceeds go towards local college scholarships.

Fun for people and pups! Halloween costume contest event for dogs! How it works: 1- Dream up a costume for your dog! 2 - Want to get in on the costume fun? You can dress in a matching or coordinated theme contest. 3 - Check in with 4-H at the Wakulla Extension Arena between 2 and 2:30 PM. The $5 registration fee (payable by cash or check on site) for contest entries helps cover recognition items & contest costs.
