Amanda Marie Green brings the common sense and practical expertise the hard working people of North Florida deserve in Congress. Her decade-long career managing complex federal programs, cutting inefficiencies, saving tax dollars and holding executives accountable has prepared her to take on corruption in Washington DC and deliver real results for people here at home. Amanda knows what works and what could be done better.
Raised by a large, loving family, Amanda understands the sacrifice required for military service, the importance of public service, and the heart and grit required for entrepreneurship. As the proud member of a family that hunts, fishes, camps, and hikes, Amanda knows we must protect North Florida from overdevelopment and mismanagement. The historic devastation from hurricanes over the last decade is a stark reminder that we must prioritize economic growth without compromising our safety, economic responsibility, and resiliency.
Amanda earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in international affairs with a focus on emergency management and economics from Florida State University— making her a proud 'Nole. She married her high school sweetheart, and together they’ve built their life here in the Big Bend where they’re growing their family in a community they cherish.
